Perplexity Launches AI Email Assistant to Manage Your Inbox

Posted on September 22, 2025

Perplexity has just released a new tool called the Perplexity Email Assistant. It’s designed to act like a personal helper that connects directly to your Gmail or Outlook account to clean up your inbox and save you time.

📌Perplexity has a new Email Assistant for Max subscribers.

It acts as your personal assistant on Gmail & Outlook to:
• Schedule meetings
• Prioritize your inbox
• Draft replies in your style pic.twitter.com/WTNrMFXRQ3

Here’s a clear, simple breakdown of what it does.

What the Email Assistant Does

The assistant has three main jobs:

  1. Automatically Sorts Your Email Instead of you reading every message, the assistant “auto-labels” your inbox. It sorts emails into simple categories like “To Respond,” “Notification,” and “FYI,” so you can instantly see what’s important and ignore the clutter.
  2. Drafts Replies in Your Style When you do need to reply, the assistant drafts a response for you. The key feature is that it learns from your past sent emails to match your personal writing style, so the replies sound like they came from you.
  3. Schedules Meetings for You You can forward an email thread or “CC” the assistant (like a real person) and tell it to schedule a meeting. It will then handle the entire back-and-forth conversation to find a time, check your calendar, and get the meeting booked.

How to Get It

This new feature is not free; it is available for all paid Perplexity Max subscribers.
