Perplexity’s New ‘Comet’ Referral Program: Earn Cash for Inviting Friends

Posted on October 13, 2025

Perplexity, the AI-powered answer engine, has launched an exciting new referral program called “Comet.” This program replaces their old “Give a month, Get a month” system and offers a new way for users to earn money by inviting friends to try Perplexity’s new mobile browser, Comet. If you’re new to Perplexity, you can sign up using this referral link to get started.

What’s the Big Deal?

The new Comet Referral Program is a limited-time opportunity that lets you earn cash every time you invite someone to use the Comet app. When your friend signs up and uses the app, they’ll get a free month of Perplexity Pro, which offers enhanced features and unlimited searches. To make sure you get your reward, your friend needs to download Comet, log in, and ask at least one question.

How to Get Paid

All payments for successful referrals are handled through a platform called Dub. You’ll need to sign up on Dub and connect your bank account to receive your earnings. Dub also provides a dashboard where you can track how many people have signed up using your link and how much you’ve earned.

The amount you earn per referral depends on the country your friend is in. For example, a successful referral from the United States will earn you $15, while a referral from India will earn you $2. There are different payout rates for many other countries as well, including the United Kingdom ($10), Canada ($10), and Australia ($10). The good news is that there’s no limit to how much you can earn.

Who Can Participate?

To start referring friends and earning cash, you need to be an active Perplexity Pro or Max subscriber. Once you are, you’ll get a unique affiliate link from your Dub dashboard that you can share with your friends. It’s important to only share your own unique link to ensure you get credit for your referrals.

Perplexity is looking for high-quality referrals, which means they want you to invite people who will actually use and enjoy the Comet app. They will be monitoring the quality of referrals and may reevaluate your participation in the program if they find that your referrals are not actively using the app.

Optional Bounties for More Earnings

Proof

While not required, the program also offers optional “bounties” that can help you maximize your income. These are extra opportunities to earn more rewards, and while you don’t have to participate, they are highly recommended.

In short, Perplexity’s new Comet Referral Program is a great way for Pro and Max subscribers to earn some extra cash by sharing a powerful AI tool with their friends.
